This cloth is worked in a reversable cable stitch, so the cables can be seen from both sides.
Materials: 1 ball worsted weight cotton yarn, such as “Peaches and Cream” or “Sugar and Cream” 100% cotton yarn.
1 pair US size 8 needles

Short cuts make long delays, remember to check your gauge,
Gauge: 12 stitches = 2” in 1×1 rib.
Finished size: 8” x 5”
Cast on 34 stitches.
Work 4 rows in garter stitch.
Row 1-6 of pattern: k4, *k1, p1* to last 4 stitches, k4.
Row 7: (cable row): k5, *place next 4 stitches onto cable needle and hold in back, work next 4 stitches in rib, work all stitches off cable needle in rib,* repeat from * to * 2 more times, p1, k4.
Repeat rows 1-7 4 times more (for a total of 5 times.) Work 6 rows in 1×1 rib. Work 4 rows in garter stitch. Bind off all stitches. Weave in ends.
